Got a question about the marina?  Check out some of the more frequently asked questions below.

  • Where are you located?

    We are located on the Murray River at Nichols Point which is part of the Sunraysia region and fall in the Mildura Rural City Council.  

  • Are you open every day?

    Yes we are open 7 days a week, from 1pm - 5pm weekends and weekdays by appointment.  Times can vary. We open public holidays via appointment.

  • Do you have public toilets?

    There are no public toilets at the Marina?  However there is one not far at the car park of The Kings Billabong walking tracks.

  • What services do you offer?

    We have a jetty open to tenants and the public offering Fuel, Ice, Gas, Sewage Pump outs and a friendly smile.  Please call ahead on  (03) 5002 9033, or book here for house boat pump outs.

  • Are the Jetty services open to the public?

    Yes we are open to the general public and accept cash and EFT.

  • Can anyone access the Marina?

    Without a booking you can not access the marina, it is for tenants only and can only be accessed via the secure boom gate.  Public access is available via water.

  • Do you have powered sites?

    Yes we have powered marina sites.

  • Do you have fresh water?

    No, there is no town water at the Marina.

  • Can you camp in the Bruce's Bend Marina?

    Our marina is gated to the community of tenants only, there is no access to camp.

  • Do you have a boat ramp?

    Yes, but it is only available to the tenants of the marina.

  • Do you have a slipway?

    Yes we operate a slipway for boats up to 40 Tonne in weight, booking essential.

  • Can you Fish in the Marina?

    Yes this is welcomed.

  • Can you ski from the marina for the day?

    No, the marina is for resident tenants only for skiing.

  • Is Bruce's Bend Marina a National Park?

    Yes, the marina is located on national park land and is a natural inland manina.  Please refer to Park Victoria's website for further information.

  • Is it Dog friendly?

    Yes, Bruce's Bend Marina is a dog friendly environment.

  • Who is Bruce?

    There is no such person called Bruce, the friendly managers and directors are Paul, Brett and Rob.  However if you would like some history, we suggest the deep reading and date facts in The History of Kings Billabong, Nichols Point

  • Can you park in the Marina on a boat overnight?

    No, there is no availability to the public outside the tenants to stay overnight at the Marina.

  • Is it accessible to walkers and push bike riders?

    Yes, bike riders and walkers can access the Marina tracks.

  • Is the road sealed?

    The road is surfaced, but not bitchumen due to being a National Park.  After the 2022 Floods the roads leading to the marina and within Bruces Bend were repaired and are safe for all vehicles to access.

  • Are there any marina berths available?

    No, but there is a waiting list at present. Please send your vessel details (size, length, depth, power etc.) and contact details to boatkeeper@brucesbendmarina.com.au if you are interested in a marina berth.

  • Can you live on your houseboat at The Bruces Bend Marina permanently?

    Yes, we have a wonderful community of tenants living permanently at Bruces Bend.

  • Is the Marina Water NSW or VIC waterways?

    The Bruces Bend Marinas natural water inlet is Victorian Waterways and on Crown Land.

  • Can I buy fuel?

    We have unleaded and diesel located at the Jetty at the marina. Please call ahead to arrange on (03) 5002 9033. Cash and EFT accepted.

  • How big are the storage sheds?

    The sheds are 10m long, 4 m wide and 3.6m high. Each with a roller door, keypad entry, concrete floor and power. Contact us here if you are interested in a shed. 

  • Waitlist - can we go on a mooring berth and dry storage shed wait list?

    Yes, we have a waitlist for mooring berths and dry storage sheds.  We just require your details and dimensions of your vessels.
